If a gag character like Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo can be top tier, Ash Ketchum absolutely deserves a slot. Today, JUS has a passionate fan translation and a thriving competitive scene on Kaillera. And yes—there are sprite edits. Someone has already modded Ash’s face over Medaka Box ’s Medaka. Someone else made a full Pikachu skin over Kochikame ’s Ryotsu.
