Kai leans closer. The KeyGenguru—a custom parallel-port dongle the size of a Zippo, etched with a leaping fox logo—flickers its red LED. He found it in a surplus bin at a defunct RadioShack. It came with a sticky note: “Plays all six keys. – M.” Kai is no longer in his workshop
