Apple’s old installation certificates for El Capitan expired in 2019. If you see "This copy of the Install macOS El Capitan application is damaged" during installation, you must set your Mac’s date back to 2018 using Terminal before running the installer:
Apple has removed El Capitan from the public App Store catalog. However, the download link is still active for users who have previously downloaded it or are using a legitimate Mac.
However, Apple distributes El Capitan as a .app bundle (via the App Store) or a .dmg (Disk Image). To get an ISO (suitable for bootable USB drives or virtualization software like VMware, VirtualBox, or Parallels), you must create it yourself.
