Overcome with guilt, George tracks him down to help him find a new job, only to accidentally ruin his life further – including interrupting his marriage proposal.
This episode is peak early Seinfeld awkwardness. The George storyline is pure anxiety comedy – he means well, but every step makes things worse. Jerry’s B-plot (slow talker) is simple but hilarious. And Elaine’s subplot? A random guy who keeps getting mistaken for someone famous, but they never say who.
