For the longest time, the community mantra was simple: The game’s simulation is too granular. The time dilation during combat is too complex. The campaign is too brittle.
If you’ve played Starsector , you know the feeling. You’ve just finished a brutal deep-space salvage operation. Your cargo hold is full of heavy armaments, your transponder is off, and the [Redacted] are hot on your tail. You jump back to the core worlds, heart pounding.
You will desync. You will crash when someone opens the Colony menu. You will lose three hours of progress because your buddy forgot to turn off his antivirus.
