My first experiences with SC2 were toward the end of my elementary school, around 1995, before my family moved to another part of the country. I was like 13. Super Melee mode fun to play and the first thing that captured my interest, but soon after I decided to take a crack at the actual game. Almost instantly the Super Melee mode became irrelevant (I play it rarely nowadays), and in summers of 1996, 1997 and 1998 SC2 became THE game of my life, which it remains to this day. I really had problems finding my place in the new surrounding back then, and SC2 was a wonderful comfort...or maybe a distraction.

Like someone also said earlier, it was the first game and perhaps remains the only that caused such honest excitement. Truly brilliant and unmatched writing in computer games creates a live, important and almost tangible world. I love it!

Viber | Kaios

In a world dominated by expensive smartphones with glass screens and short battery lives, the feature phone is making an unlikely comeback. Leading this charge is KaiOS , a lightweight operating system that bridges the gap between a basic dumbphone and a full touchscreen smartphone.

, if you rely heavily on video calls, reaction emojis, or managing large communities. A Note on the Future KaiOS development has slowed down in recent years. While Viber still supports the platform, updates are less frequent than on mainstream OS. As of late 2024/early 2025, the app remains functional, but users report occasional syncing delays. If you are buying a KaiOS phone specifically for Viber, ensure the phone has at least 512MB of RAM (like the Nokia 8000 4G) to avoid lag. Bottom Line Viber on KaiOS proves that you don't need a $1,000 smartphone to have a private, encrypted conversation. It is the perfect tool for minimalists, seniors, or anyone who misses the durability of a keypad but refuses to give up modern messaging. Just keep your laptop or tablet nearby for those video calls. viber kaios

For millions of users—especially in markets like India, Africa, and Southeast Asia—the question isn’t "Do you have WhatsApp?" but rather, "Do you have ?" In a world dominated by expensive smartphones with

A KaiOS phone lasts 5–10 days on a single charge. Running Viber over Wi-Fi uses significantly less power than running it on a budget Android phone. You can stay online all day without hunting for a charger. A Note on the Future KaiOS development has

Here is everything you need to know about using Viber on a KaiOS device. If you have a Nokia flip phone (like the 2720 or 800 Tough), a JioPhone, or a Alcatel Go Flip, you are running KaiOS. It supports 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and—crucially—a curated app store. Unlike old Java-based feature phones, KaiOS apps are built on modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JS), allowing for apps that actually work like their smartphone counterparts. Viber on KaiOS: The Core Features Rakuten Viber has maintained a dedicated app for the KaiOS store for several years. While it isn't as feature-rich as the iOS or Android versions, it captures the essentials of instant messaging.

While WhatsApp also exists on KaiOS, Viber offers default end-to-end encryption for all chats (WhatsApp on KaiOS only encrypts cloud backups). For users concerned about metadata, Viber provides a sense of security that Facebook’s (Meta) products do not. The Verdict: Is it worth it? Yes , if you are using a flip phone as your primary driver and need to stay in touch with family abroad or in group chats.

Yes! I actually missed that copy protection when I saw it wasn't there in UQM Tongue
It was sort of a small challenge and a fun start for the game...

Very few games could give me such a strong sense of nostalgia and fondness... SC2 and Thief: the Dark Project were the ones where this was most pronounced (not incidentally, these two are the best games of all time in my opinion Cheesy)
